We are excited to announce the release of our new logo. It was a compilation effort including Fiona, myself and my son Jonathan, a graphic artist. The logo is very symbolic of our MBF Jacks and our breeding program. Look for this logo on the website and on any dog related recommendations. We will soon be offering official MBF logo gear, starting with the heavy canvas bag pictured below. The items will be available for sale on our website. We have also made some vibrant v
We get asked quite often about how we groom our Jacks. It gets a little complicated because Jacks have several coat types. Jacks are generally easy to take care of as far as dogs are concerned. That is often a contributing factor to why people love to own a Jack: low maintenance 👍. No matter what the coat type, they do not need to head off to the groomers. A little attention at home is all that is required. Okay, so some love the water and mud more than others 😳, but
We're on Irish time here, Happy St. Patrick's Day! What Irish Jack could be more Irish than being born on St. Patrick's Day?! Well...Bree had 7 of them. Congratulations to her, she did such a great job delivering, with Fiona's assistance of course. She had six girls and one boy. Bree is an amazing mother. She is very attentive and already encourages her pups to neatly line up. And by the way, Pugsley also had something to do with this litter. 😁
I told you I would post Heather's pups on Monday, and here were are already. 🤣 Heather is doing a wonderful job with her beautiful pups. Everything is quiet right now. 😴 We are very pleased with her litter. Heather is a great Mom. We are taking great care of her and she is taking great care of her pups. Enjoy the pics of all 5. Thank you again to all of you who sent name suggestions in.
Thank you so much for all your name suggestions. We loved all of them which made it difficult to choose. We will be requesting help with names for our litters coming up in the near future so please keep your suggestions close by. Our next litter is due in less than two weeks.
Look at these little darlings. These are Heather and Ollie's new babes, born on March 1. Think they are cute now? Wait for a few weeks when they are up and about, and totally adorable. We are looking for name suggestions from YOU. There are 3 girls and 2 boys. Please give us your suggestions in the comment section below. Thank you for your much needed input. 😄Jon
As with most things in life there is a right way and a wrong way to house train a pup. Using ample amounts of patience, supervision and positive reinforcement, it should all go smoothly. Please remember the pups bladder is about the size of a pea and so frequent urination is very normal. Nothing wrong, so don’t be concerned, just understand that a Jack Russell is very smart and they will get trained quickly if it is done correctly.
