**Please be aware and be cautious about buying 'imported' puppies from Ireland.
There are many wonderful dog breeders in Ireland but most do not export their pups, some will once they have established a relationship with you.
Ireland is plagued with puppy farms(what you refer to as puppymills in the US), it is home to the highest number of puppyfarms in Europe.
A very sad fact and one that the ISPCA is attempting to change.
Please make sure you are buying from a responsible, caring breeder. Without demand, these types of 'puppy farmers' who see dogs as livestock, would cease to do business.
All puppies are 'cute' but simply being from Ireland is not enough.
Many little jack russells are stuck in dark, damp, cold, tiny concrete dungeons producing endless puppies to be exported and sold as "Irish Jacks" both here in the US and elsewhere.
All I ask is that you do your homework and know where your pups really come from.
I just recently read an article about puppyfarms in Ireland and feel remaining silent on the subject is opting to turn my back.
Every dog deserves the right to a good life, please make sure no dog is suffering to supply a demand for a pup.Thank you.
